Welcome to the New Mexico Prosperity Project

New Mexico’s Election Education Headquarters

The New Mexico Prosperity Project is a nonpartisan, nonprofit collaborative effort of the state's business community to provide up-to-date, easily accessible information to New Mexico businesses and their employees about federal, state, and local government activities that have an effect on the state's economic growth and business climate. Information available through the NMPP will enable New Mexico citizens to promptly and easily contact their elected representatives and to make informed choices about whom to support in elections. The Prosperity Project does not endorse candidates and does not tell you how to vote.

It's About Jobs!

As Election Day approaches, every candidate SAYS they're FOR economic development.  But what will they do to help companies here grow and prevent jobs from draining to other states and nations?  How will they create an environment that attracts quality new businesses, jobs and opportunity to New Mexico?

The New Mexico Prosperity Project provides Voter's Guides on races for Congress and State Legislature to help you make informed decisions at the polls.

The New Mexico Prosperity Project represents more than 200,000 New Mexico employees who want to be informed on economic issues that matter before we go to the polls. We are a partnership of leading businesses, trade associations and local chambers of commerce that are dedicated to helping our workforce “vote smart” on Election Day.

What does the New Mexico Prosperity Project do?

1)  Encourages every employee to:

  • Be informed -- Find out who is running in their Congressional, Legislative and Public Regulation Commission districts and where these candidates say they stand on issues that affect New Mexico’s business climate and jobs.
  • Vote on Election Day.

2)  Offers every company a series of free, turn-key election education 'Tool Kits' that engage their employees in the elections – break room posters, payroll stuffers, staff meeting talking points, employee newsletter articles, and other attractive materials about voting.
